CEREMONIES WITH SUZANNE
EAST OF ENGLAND
CELEBRANTS
ABOUT
Hello there, my lovelies! My name is Suzanne (she/her) and I’m an accredited Civil Celebrant based in Bedfordshire in the East of England, but very happy to travel further afield.
I assume that the fact you are reading this means you are at least considering opting for a celebrant-led wedding ceremony... That makes me happy! Having a celebrant-led wedding means that you have the freedom to break away from tradition and ‘the norm’, if you wish to do so, and create your ceremony from a completely blank canvas. I love nothing more than being a part of that, weaving together love stories to create ceremonies that are unique and relaxed, with the wishes of the couples I work with at the very heart of it all.
With a son who is in a same sex relationship, a daughter who is epileptic, and having a hearing impairment myself, inclusivity really is at the heart of who I am and what I do. I truly believe that everybody deserves the wedding day of their dreams, and every guest deserves to feel honoured and included. With a little thought, ceremonies really can encompass us all, embracing us as the amazing individuals we are (and making the world a kinder place at the same time – a win/win situation in my eyes!).

SERVICES
Looking at adding a special element such as handtying, wine blending or ring warming to your ceremony? How about a flash mob moment, or surprise ring bearers? I’m with you!
Or would you rather keep more to tradition? I’m with you also!
In the lead up to your wedding day, I spend a lot of time getting to know you and your ceremony ideas through a written questionnaire and planning meetings, both online and face-to-face. I want to understand the vibe you wish to create for your wedding day, why you want to get married, and what your hopes and dreams are for your future together.
On your special day, I turn up at least an hour ahead of your ceremony time to liaise with other suppliers, help with anything that needs it, and calm any last-minute nerves to ensure that your day gets off to the best start possible.
Afterwards, I slip away quietly, allowing you and guests to continue with the fun we started during the ceremony!
